A little about me : Tim Dunningham
I came to live in the Diamond Harbour/Purau area in 1999 having been born and raised in Auckland but I always had a hankering to come to this part of the world having had family in the area since 1874. Since then my 2 daughters have grown up and moved away, one to Timaru and one to Lyttelton and I now have 5 delightful Grandchildren so feel very lucky.
I have now been working in Real estate for Min Sarginson for 18 years and have gained a huge amount of experience over this time. Being a real estate agent is definitely a demanding job, but fascinating at the same time and even after 18 years there is still more to learn. People often do not understand or realise how much work goes on behind the scenes in the sale of a house as we deal with unconsented buildings, EQC issues etc. I still love what I am doing and the challenges it brings but most of all it’s about the people I meet and the journey we undertake to either sell their property or to welcome them to the area. I am passionate about where we live and spend a lot of time selling the lifestyle and the benefits of living here to potential buyers because to move to The Harbour is definitely a lifestyle choice. In my spare time I still enjoy gardening on my Purau property, playing the piano or pottering in the garage on a classic car or motorcycle, walking the beach and spending time with my family.
